Painting with Pebeo Porcelaine150 paint colors and mediums using layering and sponging techniques, along with a pen blade for making corrections.
Baking the Porcelaine150 Paintings
According to the instructions on the Porcelaine150 paints literature, after allowing your painted item to fully dry (I dry for 3 days), bake the painted piece in a home oven at 150 Celsius or 302 Fahrenheit degrees for 35 minutes in order to make the paint dishwasher and microwave safe.
Baking Tip: Put your painted item in a cold oven, then bring it to temperature, bake for 35 minutes, then allow the oven to cool thoroughly before removing the baked item.
Additional Baking Tip: I recommend you DO NOT BAKE IN A TOASTER OVEN! The temperature spikes too often and I have found this can potentially burn the paint creating brown spots or bubbles.
Layering Tip: You can bake layers of painting to fully set them (after letting them dry for 2-3 days), then go over the top with additional painting layers. That way you can make corrections on the new layers without disturbing the baked layers.
