In this article I share my love of Gel Plate monotype printing! The folks at Gel Press gifted me 2 different size gel printing plates and so in this session I demonstrate the 2 size plates with acrylics on various types of papers utilizing some basic printmaking techniques.

Layering, masking, using a stencil and more examples are shown for how to build up paint and transfer onto paper for yummy organic textures.

This art workshop was a lot of fun and I hope you’ll try some of the tips and tricks shared in the class video.
