In this article I discuss the features of different types of Yupo tree-free polypropylene papers. As part of preparation for the workshop, I did many tests on Yupo with alcohol inks, writing inks and watercolors that led to discoveries I share. Then, I demonstrate painting on this non-permeable Yupo surface with alcohol inks, India inks and watercolors.
