In this article I open the Ocean Shore set of Michael Harding Watercolors! This luscious beachy color set is made in England and augmented with several additional single colors in my live painting demonstration to create a Mangrove Beach scene.

In the video tutorial below, I started with swatching the new colors and some color mixing to see how the paints perform (they’re divine!), then paint my local beach. I finish off the beach waves with white and shimmer gouache paints for extra dimension.
