Join me for my next LIVE Painting Workshop and Art sale! I will be sharing about some of my favorite Asian Brush Painting Artists and simple subject painting.
Note that Simple does not mean Easy! It is a skill learned through years to simplify your subject and use less strokes in your artworks to convey the energy and emotion you want to portray. Brush and paper selection also play a big part in getting a successful result. I will share my experiences with Sumi-e painting in this class.

Selection of Medium & Small Asian Brushes - or squirrel/faux squirrel watercolor brushes
Xuan Rice Paper and/or Watercolor Paper
Ink Cups - more than one for making gray colors
Felt Mat (Optional) - if using Xuan rice paper
2 Containers of Water
Paper Towels
Brush Rest
Apron
